Minimum Requirements and skills:
- Fluent in English
- IsiXhosa verbal and
written skills an advantage
- Minimum Matric or
equivalent NQF level 4 qualifications
- Sound knowledge of the
retirement fund landscape
- At least 2 years
Retirement Fund industry or Employee Benefits working experience
- Computer literacy
- Excellent verbal and
written skills
- Team orientated
Role requirements:
- Communication with
members, benefit administrators and Employer, and performing all
administrative processes, relating to:
- Disposal of death
benefits in terms of Section 37C of the Pension Funds Act and the Rules
of the Fund
- Withdrawals
(resignations, dismissals, and retrenchments)
- Retirements
- Disabilities
- Funeral claims
- Housing Loans (In Fund)
- Divorce Orders and
benefits payable
- Quotations
(withdrawals, Life and Living Annuity)
- Benefit Statements
- Preparation of reports
on the finding of death benefit investigations
- Assist during new member
induction sessions and member presentation workshops where required
- Contribute to overall
team excellence
- Engagement with members
including pensioners
